I have trained with Trident Concepts several times since 2005. There are many reasons I have continued to do so, among them …professionalism, solid coaching and instruction, and challenging standards. The Combative Pistol 2 class is an outstanding opportunity to hone your skills and be relentlessly pressed to improve. This class, like all the courses I have taken with TriCon, is highly recommended.

This class is designed to fine tune your accuracy and was quite a humbling experience for me. Trust me, you are not as good as you think you are. With Jeff’s expert instruction my shot placement went from mediocre (at best) to good/great with room for improvement over 2 days. I greatly appreciated the honest feedback and the fine tuning that came from Jeff and was very pleased at my progression. My clusters tightened tremendously. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for an awesome, honest, no BS instructor. I would definitely take the class again.

I am a firearms instructor, along with owning my own business where I specialize in firearms instruction. I took this class with the expectation it would be valuable and informational, and Jeff went above and beyond. I am always looking to improve my own skills as a shooter, as well as improve my skill as an instructor….this class was a true test of my own abilities, and I am very pleased with what I was able to do with what I was given just in 2 days. I highly recommend this class to any shooter who wants to be humbled!

Exceptional and challenging training. Jeff’s courses will challenge the limits of your ability and give you an honest measure of the strength and weaknesses of both you and your gear. Jeff is an excellent marksman and great teacher, he is able to rapidly provide students diagnostic feedback that can immediately improve your performance and provide areas for you to focus on training on your own. Even though he possesses an extremely high level of knowledge and skill at his craft Jeff seems to have an open mind regarding alternate ideas and techniques to continuously progress his knowledge and training.

The class was incredibly helpful in diagnosing misses, correcting shooting mechanics, and developing fundamentals that will help take me to a higher level of shooting. It was the most valuable class I have taken as a shooter, ever!

Excellent class. Jeff stressed consistency and accuracy in shooting. The focus Jeff placed on 25 yard shooting is designed to flush out your weaknesses in these areas. If you want to get the most out of the class leave the optic home. Go with iron sites. We had two full days of intense drills, however we all managed to keep our humor, with Jeff’s help. This class was challenging and demanding but designed to push you out of your comfort zone. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to test their current ability or learn to improve on the their current skill level.

If you value your time and money spend it on this class. I learned more about shooting fundamentals and myself in these two days than the last 5 years just shooting by myself at the range. Jeff is a great instructor and is well spoken. Range trips are now more efficient than ever. I’m constantly trying to improve on everything I learned in class. Don’t hesitate! Pull the trigger. I personally can’t wait to take my next class with Trident.

Excellent class that focused on the importance of fundamentals to make accurate shots, especially at 25 yards. Jeff presented his curriculum in a very clear and concise manner. We spent two full days on the range shooting drills and testing the technics we were shown. This class was very challenging and demanding and pushed me past my comfort zone and I’m already looking forward to my next Trident Concepts course to take the next step.

This class crushes all the rest. Definitely worth every penny. Class with numerous students but makes the time to address every single student to correct and discuss the outcome of what was learned. Cannot speak highly enough of Jeff.

This was the most demanding class I have attended. You had to perform on command all day long. It was also my first class that had a minimum set of standards to pass. You either met the standards or you did not pass. Jeff is a very knowable guy with a ton of experience, and it shows. He can look at your target and know what you are doing wrong. He is laid back, very friendly, but you will rise to the standard or you will not pass. If you are not making the standard, he works with you in a friendly manner and does not belittle you. Not all instructors are like that. We all had fun in the class, and it pushed each of us to raise our game on each shot. 100% recommend.
