We saw a student who had one front site from a certain manufacture and a rear site from a different manufacture.
The net result was a slightly off shot group that was very difficult to get inside the Target zone.
Not every manufacture will produce their sites to be compatible with other sites. We seen this pretty frequently with the rifles, but this was the first time that I saw it creates such a big problem with the pistols.
The caution I
issue is that while it may seem to do a good job at 7 yards and then, when we take them back to the 25 yard line you get a real idea about how Nick’s matched the sites really are. Distance is never going to lie, it will only exaggerate the true nature of the shooting her and allow proper diagnostics to be applied.
