I’m fortunate to do something I really enjoy, even go so far as to say love. I believe in our constitution and consider it a bulwark to our cherished freedoms. I believe in the right to life and the right to protect life. While I encourage peaceful resolutions, when violence is the answer it is the only answer. One of the best ways to protect life is with modern firearms. I don’t believe education is necessary to exercise a constitutional right, but I do believe it is the responsible thing to do and I encourage all who are interested to learn as much as they feel comfortable. I founded this company over 20 years ago with one goal. To be a resource for those who wish to not only exercise their constitutional rights, but pursue excellence in the process. In that time we have seen thousands of students come through our programs. It is a pleasure to work with students at all levels, but especially those new to our industry. I know it can be confusing or even intimidating and we are here to help.
Our directive is to welcome all, provide an enjoyable and productive opportunity to work together. I’ve discovered more about leadership as an instructor than I could have imagined. We offer some of the most demanding and challenging courses, not because the skill is difficult to learn. It is, but guided instruction makes it much easier. No, the reason is because we hold ourselves and our students to a set of standards. It is through these standards we lay the groundwork for success. Without standards we are merely stroking our egos and have no real guarantee of competency, much less mastery.
A central tenant to being successful is trust. I work tirelessly to gain the trust that opens doors and overcomes obstacles to learning. In the process, we have made amazing friendships and relationships. We offer high intensity courses of instruction to maximize learning. Through close supervision and our proven curriculum students are guided through a learning process that emphasizes competency in the core skills. Students walk away with both the knowledge and application of these core skills to continue their development on their own or as returning students.
While I know should you need to employ the skills we offer, it will be the worst day you could imagine. But, I’m confident in our ability to improve students skill level because I believe in the student. I believe what I’m asking is achievable. Every time I’ve challenged a student to grow they have done so and I couldn’t be prouder.
My vision is to bring the joy and passion for the shooting arts to as many people as possible. To impact them in a positive and meaningful way. To create the next generation of instructors, shooters and ambassadors to defend our freedoms and our way of life.
