This is a good match up, one that we call all get behind and support. It seems the champ has taken some blows lately and going into the last round he’s behind on points…but don’t rule the brawler out.
It’s a disease
Political correctness is out of control, it is a disease. People are infected all over the place and the worse part is they don’t even know it. We have created a subculture of sorts and as result a society that is constantly second guessing themselves. We’ve all done it at some point blurted something we probably should’ve, but let’s be honest, was it really a big deal? At the very core of this issue is the destruction of our freedoms and culture. It does so by criticizing and demonizing those who don’t fall into a particular “victim” group.
Sticks and stones
The problem I see is in this process they are creating a “culture war” against those who want to succeed, who will work hard and who are willing to sacrifice to achieve success and recognition. In a sense because of some perceived slight they should be given preferential treatment, it as the removal of Darwinism. There can no longer be losers, everyone has to be a winner. What an abysmal failure and disservice to our history and our future. But it is part of a larger picture and there is more at stake than hurting someones feelings.
Trump card
I’m not a scholar, but I’ve slept in a Holiday Inn once and with my gifted super intelligence I can see how political correctness stunts our growth. It is like trying to grow a plant in the darkness where darkness is political correctness. We need sunlight to grow and speaking your mind is the epitome of freedom’s brilliance. Freedom from fear of retaliation or punishment because you don’t agree. Our country is in dire straits right now and we need people who will speak their mind, tell us the truth. Yes, it might hurt some feelings in the process, but how in the hell can you honestly say you are prepared to handle the real world problems if you get upset because someone does or doesn’t say the right thing.
Clear and present danger
Probably the most important point you take away from this article is recognizing that political correctness is a direct threat to your First Amendment right. When someone tells you what you can or can’t say they are attacking your constitutional rights no matter how you want to slice it. Plain and simple. We need to stand by our constitution and make it clear that it trumps your political correctness everyday and twice on Sunday. Now, I’m not saying you are given a free pass to say whatever you would like, you most certainly can do that, but just be prepared for the consequences. What I am saying is you should be able to exercise your freedom of speech even when it is not popular.
There is danger all around us and the ones we often don’t recognize as the most dangerous are the ones that seem the most innocent. I can assure you that political correctness is quite dangerous, just ask any of the victim groups.
Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear. Harry S. Truman 33rd President of the United States.
Political Correctness and Progressivism is destroying the very fabric of the Country…I hope there are enough of us that don’t follow those roads to stop the train wreck!
Well said…
