Be ready when seconds count…
Our 2-day Active Shooter Readiness (404) is an advanced, high-intensity firearms training course designed for concealed carriers, law enforcement, first responders, security professionals, and responsible armed citizens who may face a deadly force encounter during an active shooter event.
Designed for real-world violence, this course emphasizes active shooter readiness through surgical shooting, dynamic movement, long range hand-gunnning, cover use, and time-compressed decision-making. Students build the technical and mental skills needed to perform under extreme pressure and respond decisively, lawfully, and effectively to protect and preserve innocent lives.
Course Highlights
- Draw and fire from concealment with precision under strict time constraints
- Use cover and concealment effectively to minimize exposure and increase survivability
- Engage while moving—advancing, retreating, and performing lateral movement drills
- Make accurate long-range shots at 25–50+ yards, replicating real distances in schools, malls, or large public spaces
- Establish defensive positions and maintain control of the scene until law enforcement arrives
- Communicate safely and clearly with first responders under stress*
- Render immediate lifesaving aid, including bleeding control and casualty management, when safe to do so*
* where time and location allow
Training Methods
Instruction combines live-fire exercises, scenario-based simulations, and stress-inoculation drills to enhance decision-making, accuracy, and composure. Each scenario reinforces judgment, accountability, and lawful use of deadly force.
