CQB Class Description:
The Solo CQB (210) is an intermediate 2-day class is designed to equip the average person for situations you may need to move ALONE through a structure, building or residence. In this intermediate tactical class students will learn both dynamic and deliberate entry methods with a heavy emphasis on deliberate with limited penetration. Students learn the tactical progressions and how to asses risk and the tactical imperative to the problems they are facing. Early tactics will cover firearm posture and flow, footwork, use of cover, door reading & management, limited penetration and dynamic versus deliberate clearances. I recently completed the Solo CQB course with Trident Concepts and can highly recommend it to other prospective students. This particular course is focused on the practical application of clearing tactics optimized for use by individuals. Subjects covered include room construction/design considerations, threat prioritization, and exposure minimization. Throughout the classroom and range drills, each student received personalized instruction and feedback. I walked away with a significant increase in knowledge/skill and met some great folks along the way.
